This element which is a basic necessity for our psyche is confirmed by oral productions of humanity, myths and folktales. And in our social world, whether or not we are adoptive parents, whether or not we are adoptive children, we have to take a position in relation to the adoption or the refusal of adoption of children around us. In all these cases, our infantile family romance really remains our unconscious driving force. Adoption, in the depths of the child world, invites us to consider it at the scale of the succession of the generations.
