On lira ci-après : une esquisse de l’évolution historique des « baptêmes étudiants » en Belgique ; une tentative de différencier baptême et bizutage ; une confrontation de points de vue motivés et significatifs divergents ; la réactualisation d’une recherche effectuée sur les baptêmes « traditionnels » ; un questionnement quant à la coexistence d’une fraternité et solidarité groupale du baptême avec des soumissions et humiliations du bizutage et leur déni ; l’évocation de l’expérience de Zimbardo à Stanford et de ses conséquences ; l’exemplification de cas de déshumanisation extrême qui se vivent aujourd’hui.
