| 520 | _aLe sens de l’usage donné à l’information et à la connaissance dans les discours politiques sur la démocratie contemporaine est désormais au cœur des imaginaires des sociétés de la modernité. Pourtant, ces enjeux ont rarement fait l’objet d’un vrai débat démocratique. Quelles sont les traces laissées par ces discours ? Comment ces traces affectent-elles nos modes de représentations du monde ? Comment s’articulent-elles avec nos modes de vie actuels ? Nous proposons, dans cet article, d’analyser ces imaginaires qui fondent les discours et les pratiques politiques de notre supposée hyper-modernité identifiée à l’émancipation individuelle et sociale. Nous souhaitons, dans cette perspective, contribuer à la déconstruction de ce mythe moderne de la liberté indifférenciée du développement de l’information, des communications et des connaissances. Nous questionnerons, en ce sens, ces ensembles stratifiés de traces en provenance des politiques qui ont, pour une large part, déterminé, constitué, façonné nos mœurs actuelles. | ||
| 520 | _aThe myth of freedom in the contemporary democratic imaginaryThe meaning of the usage given to information and knowledge in political discourse on contemporary democracy is henceforth at the heart of the imaginaries of modern societies. And yet these issues have rarely been the subject of a real democratic debate. What are the traces left by these discourses ? How do these traces affect our ways of representing the world ? How are they linked to our current lifestyles ? In this article we set out to analyse these imaginaries that underlie the political discourses and practices of our supposed hypermodernity identified with individual and social emancipation. We hope thereby to contribute to the deconstruction of this modern myth of the undifferentiated freedom of the development of information, communications and forms of knowledge. To this end, we will examine these stratified ensembles of traces stemming from the politics which, to a large extent, have determined and shaped our current mores. | ||
