They have been in mother-infant psychotherapy from the infant’s birth to his 25th month of life. The presentation of this clinical case is enriched with objective measures from both the interactive functioning via a micro-analysis of behavior and of the infant’s psychomotor development during his first year of life. This paper discusses the importance of taking into consideration the mother-infant interaction within a mother-infant psychotherapy and highlights the contribution of research and its investigative tools in clinical practice. | ||
