520			_aLa dimension intentionnelle du traumatisme qu’ont vécu les familles algériennes, tout en produisant un effondrement des étayages du groupe, a également induit une dislocation des liens familiaux, mais aussi et surtout une invalidation des pères, car ces derniers ont failli dans leur rôle protecteur ou alors se sont engagés dans un combat idéologique générateur de violence et de déni d’altérité. Ce vécu traumatique provoque un sentiment particulièrement douloureux : la honte. Or, tout enfant confronté à un parent qui a été invalidé par l’intentionnalité des actes de violence, actes « silenciés » par les parents car honteux, est mis dans une position de totale confusion puisqu’il perd ses repères aussi bien internes qu’externes.

But more especially, there arose a invalidation of the fathers as they had failed in their protective role or were themselves engaged in an ideological combat generating violence and a refusal of otherness. This traumatic experience aroused an especially painful feeling, that of shame. Now, any child confronted by a relative who has been invalidated by the intentionality of deeds of violence (acts passed over by the parents due to their shameful nature) is placed in a situation of total confusion through the loss of both internal and external references.
