The whole argument stresses the frequency of Narcissistic disorders and especially the feeling of constancy and self-worth as being essential when going beyond desire to make up the “conjugal” dimension of the choice of lover and the choice of the type of sentimental bond. The perceptible evolution in temporality plays a major role here, shifting identifications towards a modelled form of adolescence. Is what we are seeing here a passing upheaval in people’s sense of identity, the renewal of a plurality of identity related processes or an anthropological evolution?
