L’analyste peut repérer la croyance dans la zone relativement floue entre le « JE » et le « nous » où s’organisent les compromis du groupe. Le droit à croire comme à douter a un rapport avec les bénéfices narcissiques identitaires et avec la constitution d’une personnalité dans l’appartenance et la sécurisation. Suite à une fragilité narcissique et identitaire la croyance oblige parfois l’individu soit à la soumission et à l’emprise d’autrui, soit à la révolte. L’analyse du contretransfert par rapport à ses propres croyances est essentielle dans les TFCP.

A raíz de una fragilidad narcisista y de identidad, la creencia a veces obliga al individuo a la sumisión y al dominio de los demás, o a la revuelta. El análisis de la contratransferencia en relación con sus propias creencias es esencial en TPPF.
