520 _aThe perinatal period is a time for psychological reorganization and meetings with various pregnancy and birth professionals. Perinatal home visits offer an opportunity for an early and preventive intervention for families living in precarious situations. The stress generated by their living conditions can lead to parent-child relationship problems and child development disorders. This article summarizes the literature on perinatal home visits and describes the practice of perinatal support services set up in French-speaking Belgium. They offer mothers living in a precarious situation free home support from the start of their pregnancy, in connection with the psycho-medical- legal-social network of the region they live in.
