520 _aDepuis qu’Otar est parti... is a film with several dimensions: on the exile, the absence, the lack, which others remains for each one presentationless, on mourning and the ceaseless fight against the invasion of the Negative one. It explores also the effects of the political and social catastrophes on the bonds intrapsychic, interpersonal and family links. J. Bertuccelli describes remarkably how unconscious alliances function in their relationship with chaos and the collective catastrophes, when to survive in their link, each one ties with each other a pact nothing to know of what is concerned in their suffering. A characteristic of this film is to analyze unconscious alliances between three generations of women confronted with the accidental death of a son, a brother, an uncle. The psychic trauma takes its density to have for innermost depth a political regime which built a culture of the refusal, and whose disorganization makes reappear what founded the bonds between all the protagonists.
