520 _aThis article examines lawyers’ practice of labor law for business clients. Based on semi-directive interviews and observations within a law firm, it focuses on the relationship between business lawyers and their clients. The article underscores the asymmetrical relationship between employers and employees during litigation. Having access specialized legal advice is indeed unequal for the two sides. The article explores three dimensions of the relationship between business lawyers and their clients: the development of a working relationship in the long term, their ability to anticipate legal conflicts, and their ability to participate in the co-production of legal strategies.
