520 _aIn subjects with visual impairment, social experiences must take place through sensory modalities other than vision. The aim of our study is to observe whether a more acute experience of touch has an effect on the co-construction of interaction in a collaborative task. We observed 58 participants (visually impaired teenagers and sighted teenagers) during a situation of collaboration in pairs within a tactile digital space. The results show that most participants were able to collaborate within a digital space where only tactile information is available. We distinguished the different dynamics in the movement of participants’ cursors using concepts drawn from the theory of nonlinear dynamic systems. These analyses highlight the process of the co-construction of social interaction, and also show that the dynamics of interaction does not depend solely on the visual status of the participants.
