520 _aAre public libraries involved in developing the digital culture of their users? To answer this question, this article examines a set of services offered to users by the digital spaces of the Bibliothèque municipale de Lyon (BmL) network. Services proposed in these digital spaces concern the digital culture they aim to develop among users. All of these services take into account their age and their level of computer skills. Two methods for informal learning are identified. The first is providing support through the setting up of digital workshops supported by a reproduction-trail through the blog, which is a form of memo for those having followed the workshops and a form of valorization of this service for other internet users. The second is the autonomy that is deployed through the provision of both self-training tools and documentary resources as a pedagogical medium. Mediation is present as a central element around which all the services of the digital spaces examined are built.
