520 _aTwo main pedagogical methods exist to foster entrepreneurship and to learn how to start a new company: on the one hand, the business incubator system – within a school – which enables students to develop their own companies, and on the other hand, the tutoring of external projects in which students provide assistance to non-student creators. This latter tutorial system will be studied in this paper and, in particular, the retraining assistance given to entrepreneurs from ""sensitive urban areas."" This tutorial system is called “Les Cordées de l’Entrepreneuriat”. First, the authors describe the objectives and methods of entrepreneurship education; they then discuss the benefits to entrepreneurial education resulting from “Les Cordées de l’Entrepreneuriat”. The exploratory qualitative study conducted on business students leads to the conclusion that the tutorial dimension is more effective at developing an entrepreneurial spirit in students than at contributing to their intention to start a new company. This tutorial support also has the advantage of inculcating certain human values in the context of entrepreneurship education.
