520 _aIn this text Guy Felix Duportail attempts to respond to the question of meaning and the possibility of the mathematisation of clinical psychoanalysis. To do this, he goes back, firstly, to the emergence of the subject of science – the Cogito – as a condition for the analytic praxis, then secondly, he brings to light the return effect of the conditioned (psychoanalysis) on the conditioning (science). It appears from this that the subject deductible from the borromean knot is no longer the Cartesian Cogito and conditions science. The positions are therefore reversed and the subject needs to be rethought.
