520 _aNew mobilities tend to promote globalization and multiculturalism. At the same time, more and more microcosms based on cultural particularisms appear worldwide. The region of Fort-Lauderdale-Hollywood is known as the “Petit Quebec” or “Floribec” since thousands of French Canadians from Quebec go over there each year during winter time.
