520 _aThis article highlights the contradictory relationship experienced by young exiles between the deceleration caused by the migratory journey, judicial mechanisms and the intervention of child social services upon reaching French soil, and the acceleration of the institutional process required to meet all regularization criteria as quickly as possible. Statutory mobility (particularly rejuvenation) is therefore a means to counter the advance of time- biological and chronological- linked to the deceleration and the implementation of identification processes. This phenomenon of reversibility is neither definitive nor a given, and takes place at temporal and spatial levels in accordance with the processes of passing between the status of the “adult” and status of the “child” (becoming a “minor” or an “adult”).
