520 _aThe hypothesis of a new linguistic order in social work is the basis of this article, which focuses on words synonymous with modernity. We thus focus on investment, a psychoanalytic notion that Freud borrowed from economics, and which has now returned to the field of economics and management. We also look at impact and at an Anglo-American-influenced language that depoliticizes the social question by using rhetoric that is both ecological and managerial.
