520 _aContinuing education is a key concern when it comes to public policy. It is not only a matter of education and culture, but also a matter of work. What can be said about access to continuing education for actors working in an Etablissement et service d’accompagnement par le travail (ESAT) (Establishment and Work Assistance Service)? Examining the operation and status of these medical and social facilities, the author offers several avenues for reflection based on a literature review and findings from participant observation. Despite the fact that ESAT actors benefit from ongoing training, there are constraints and contradictions that call into question the inclusion of these artists in the artistic community.
