The way in which these plots explore the links between ordinary, everyday life and dependency reveals the role of language and the risks characters face of being reduced to just a body, as their dependency, once overlooked, becomes the only thing people see. The various enunciative and narrative tools used in these novels underline three strategies that contribute to an ethics of dependence: the distance of humor, the reciprocity of dependence, and the search for enunciative independence. | ||
