520			_aThe Ukraine’s war did not start with Russia’s “special operation”, on February the 24th, 2022. A so-called hybrid war started height years earlier, in March 2014. Henceforth, this is a “war of high intensity”. Some speak of Nato’s rebirth and the European Union’s mutation which would be converted to the rule of power. Nothing sure. The geopolitical situation validates the historical burden sharing within the Euro-Atlantic bodies: Nato is the natural framework of mutual defense and the European Union plays a subsidiary role what does not exclude any progress. However, the current war determines the reconfiguration of Europe’s balance of power and raises geopolitical main issues as Ukraine’s candidacy to Nato, uncertainty regarding to Turkey or still the need to focus on determination about the relationship to the People’s Republic of China.
