| 520 | _aApproach of quality in palliative care for use by nursing services – Since June 1999, French law guarantees access to palliative care for all patients who require it, irrespective of where care is provided. Most carers (whether medical professionals or not) have no or little specific training, so are unsure whether the care they are providing is appropriate. This research is based on the principles of quality assurance, and offers a tool for care teams to refer to, allowing them to evaluate their own practices, reassure themselves that their actions are correct and/or make improvements after having identified any insufficiencies. | ||
