520 _aThe repetition of complex situations surrounding the question of artificial nutrition in a palliative care unit has lead the health care staff to realise the need for a deliberation procedure that could assist medical decision-making. The elaboration and use of such a tool require a multidisciplinary approach incorporating an ethical framework. This process starts from problems anchored in day-to-day clinical practice, moves away to elaborate a reflection guide, and then returns to clinical practice to use the deliberation procedure in real-life situations.
