520 _aThe professionalization of peer helpers has been taking shape over several years in numerous countries. The integration of peer workers into services has been shown to be possible, and its positive impact on practice has also been reported. In France, the Public Health Council recommends “continuing to explore peer mediation.” In our study, participating care workers were generally in favor of peer worker integration in care teams. Whilst expressing a degree of apprehension, they stated their interest in working with this concept. Our findings call into focus issues pertaining to the training of different professionals, which represents an essential prerequisite for this type of integration.
