520 _aBased on an ethnographic survey conducted in a highly feminized and popularly recruited branch of agricultural vocational education, this article examines the effects of intergenerational socialization dynamics, primarily among women, on the educational trajectories of female students enrolled in a vocational high-school diploma (bac pro) in Soins et services à la personne et au territoire (SAPAT) (Care and Services for Individuals and Territories). These socializing dynamics are examined through the prism of female family mobilizations around the SAPAT vocational program, as well as the manifestations of forms of domestic socialization in working-class environments.
