This essay proposes that “it all depends” – on what faith we teach and how we teach it. In response to what faith, it urges the centrality of Jesus Christ in the midst of a comprehensive catechesis, not to be taken for granted by Catholic Christians. As to how, it suggests that we have much to learn from Jesus’ own pedagogy as evident in the Gospels; this is summarized as a life to faith to life approach. | ||
