520 _aCities and territories are re-inventing themselves to meet the needs of a post-modern society in which emotions combine with rationality to propose new ways of living together. In the framework of an I-Site FUTUR project of the Université Paris Est, in partnership with EIFFAGE, we study in this article an eco-neighborhood on the outskirts of Paris through the lens of alter-organization models. Because, in an alter-organization context, it is no longer appropriate to consider the individual (interchangeable) but rather the person with their distinctive characteristics, as emotions become an essential element in understanding these new forms of living together.
