520 | _aThe author discusses some reasons why the ethics of care has recently been contested during the introduction of the term in public debate. It has been suggested among others that the care is not a feminist, but essentializing the feminine giving a moral content. It aims to show that contrary to ethics of care is a radicalization of feminism, three subversions: it subverts the definition of morality (as a sharing of good and evil, and definition of correct), it requires paying attention to Neglected realities and hence our reason to ignore them, and finally it breaks the dualism differentialism/universalism. | ||
