All of them are “uberized” workers, putting pedal to the metal for the biggest delivery giants… Or are they? No! A handful of riders are still holding out against platform capitalism, organizing “disconnection strikes,” public demonstrations, and legal disputes. Faced with the behemoths of the gig economy, a fraction of these “new proletarians” have even embarked on the rocky path toward self-management.
