520 _aJournalists’ associations are bodies that represent all the journalists in a media company. They are not legally recognized by social partners, but they nevertheless have the legitimacy to put forward their interests. They further industrial democracy by introducing new (ethical and editorial) themes and modes of discussion. This article analyzes the participation of employees in the company beyond the involvement of representative institutions to consider all the actors who take the position of representing workers and who contribute to regulating their activity.
