520 _aThe team and the group are generally treated as distinct bodies: the first is considered as the result of rational action and has been located in the field of management sciences; while the second, the group, has been developed mainly into the psychological domain – social psychology or psychoanalysis. Between the two concepts, despite the proposal by Bion, there is a growing distance. We propose to bring these two aspects of this social space into a single unit, team-group, and to illustrate its use with the case of a team – and group – of scientific divers in Mexico.
