520 _aThis article presents the social construction of a collective of artists in their thirties that presents itself to its members as a stimulating shared experience for creation and as a place for individual revitalization. The collective manages to make its activity economically viable, even though the desire to live off of one’s artistic production collides with the imperatives and logic of the market. The aim of this article is to examine the way in which this collective forms a socially alternative common world by identifying the different functions fulfilled by the group and the organizers who structure the common world, especially the relationship with filiation. The issue is raised as to whether this collective is simply the construction of a particular world or whether it participates in doing society differently.
