520 _aThis article highlights the interest of using projective tests in Cameroon for the study of the psychic functioning of subjects experiencing delirium, in an anthropologically different universe from that of their conception. In doing so, it first presents and analyses some projective methodological work carried out with Amerindian tribes and populations of French-speaking Africa. Then, it approaches the clinic of delusional psychoses in the Rorschach and tat according to the model of the école de Paris. The question of the diagnostic evaluation in psychopathology in the different therapeutic systems that coexist in Cameroon is then explored. Finally, a clinical case of an adolescent, illustrating the interest of the projective methodology in an intercultural context, is presented. The combined study of the Rorschach and the tat enable to highlight the psychic conflicts and their articulation with heterogeneous cultural signifiers.
