520 _aPerformance measurement tools are not new instruments. Initiated with the law renewing social and medico-social action in 2002, they will have an even more present place with the application of the High Authority of Health (HAS) reference system published in January 2022. This sector, which has been built on values of solidarity, social protection, and social ties among others, must now request from its professionals to work with performance measurement instruments. Whether they are members or not, whether they are initiated or not, they must deal with these practices and meet certain requirements. The question of the impact of these tools on the motivation of professionals is then asked. To answer this question, we met a team from a Residential Therapeutic Center where we conducted nine semi-directional interviews. If our results show a positive impact on the motivation of the educational and nursing staff interviewed, they also highlight the need to have a concrete framework that allows the personal needs of each person to be met, while at the same time having a team and management dynamic that allows them their respective and collegial achievement.
