The urgency is there, established, but the inertia that responds to it amazes those who commit themselves as much as it suits those, indifferent, who deny it or who do not care. The problem is scientific, economic, political, but it is also a communicative one. At the heart of the environmental humanities, information and communication sciences have their part to play and they also have solutions to offer that’s what this article is all about. We analyze the environmental emergency in terms of its circulation in public space and we propose a more operational approach, working on the concept of crystallization.‪
