520 | _aThe loss of family, community, and cultural support during migration leads to solitude and acculturation, which are risk factors for parenting that add to the level of vulnerability surrounding a child’s development. In this paper, we present a group therapy, bringing together mothers from different cultures with their preschool children. This setting brings about a double therapeutic process. It offers a containing environment through various simultaneous interwoven support systems that enhances mother-child bonding. Mothers and children in their respective subgroups evolve concurrently, and then by interacting with one another. | ||
