520 _aThe article proposes to analyze the decline of well-being at work as a “malaise of gift”, related to the exhaustion of the gift’s dynamics at work that are not recognized. It highlights, through two empirical researches in health-care organizations, how relational dynamics are exhausted because of the distance of managers from operational work. It also underlines how quality of working life is inseparable from organizational and managerial conditions favoring the existence of work discussion spaces, which can be spaces where gift’s dynamics that remain inherent at work can be recognized.
