520 _aRecent studies expose success stories that demonstrate that artificial intelligence (AI) is a component of business models in the digital era. This study proposes that AI acts in the digital business model’s operation, which is validated using the constant comparison method of grounded theory by analyzing the experiences of five Mexican companies. The results suggest that AI in companies’ operational activities creates and generates value and increases the learning capacity of digital business models.
