520 _aThe aim of this paper is to develop a measurement scale for the presidential managerial discretion in non-profit membership associations. On the basis of Churchill paradigm, a qualitative, then an exploratory and a confirmatory studies were performed. The findings depict that managerial discretion is a bidimensional concept composed of two dimensions: The first one is related to the managerial discretion relative to the tactic and strategic decisions while the other dimension is related to the managerial discretion upon the operational decisions.
