520 _aThe turn of the twentieth and twenty-first century brought about sweeping technological changes which impacted our way of functioning in society. One of those constitutes the transition from analog to digital photography. The aim of this monograph is to capture these changes and their image preserved in poetry written after 1989, based on Polish literature. To highlight the changes that occurred alongside the digital revolution, and indicate contact points between contemporary poetry and photography, both analog and digital, the author employs new tools and terms from the field of literary studies, such as “photo-grapheme” and “photo-graphemic.”
