520 _aAction to be taken to fight climate crisis speeding up is hindered by the obstacles met in building up ecological transition. One major challenge is to tackle the problem of skills and competencies necessary for this transition, and hence the acquisition of knowledge and of new attitudes, among employees as well as students. Many initiatives are taken both by institutional authorities and academics as well as by civil society organizations. The scope of action to be taken and the wide range of parties to be involved or to be coordinated, are challenging ministries in charge of these issues. Drawing on an overview of many initiatives, we will discuss several issues faced by government action, in particular regarding the definition of a set of skills in academic curriculums or learning programs certification.
