520 | _aHow should the oscillations and entanglements between narcissistic libido and object libido be conceived ? The classical concepts of narcissistic object choice (Freud) and narcissistic object choice (Kohut and Winnicott) are inadequate to describe the paradoxes with which the clinical treatment of narcissism confronts us. Three configurations are described here : the idealising hypercathexis of the cathected object, the self-negation of primary guilt compensated by the persecutory hypercathexis of the ideal and the negation of the other in some perverse destinies of illnesses of ideality. | ||
