520 _aThe objective of this article is to analyze the difficulties around the construction of a partnership between a public actor and an association running a local currency, via support based on an impact study. To do so, it draws on translation theory through the lens of territorial approaches and proximities. The analysis shows that the divergences in the stakeholders’ perceptions could not be overcome, leading to the failure of the expected strengthening of the partnership and highlighting the need to co-construct not only knowledge but also public policy.
