520 _aThrough the study of the Christine Ostrowski case, condemned by her party to have met a leader of a neo-Nazi organization, this article formulates certain assumptions of a research related more largely to the attitude of the German neo-Socialist party, the PDS, in front of the far right. The party’s management of this dissenting case clarifies essential aspects of party’s reality, in particular the actual gap between the sympathizers and the federal authorities, like between the various levels of exercise of party’s authority (local, regional and federal). It allows, in addition, some questions related to one of the sociological characters of ex-GDR, that is a strong presence of the far right and xenophobia.
