520 _aBPC is a psychoanalytic practice using perception and sensorimotor processing in particular as bodily mediation in the relationship between patient and analyst when verbal language fails in its mediating function. The history of the Body Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy method and its evolution has allowed us to show, with various points of view from colleagues, the inherent interest in using the parameters of the somatopsychic organization to work with primal experience with patients presenting pathologies resistant to standard treatment. Whatever the psychic organization of the patients, since primal experience is active all their lives, we can note the interest for everyone of working on these archaic regions of our mental functioning. Research continues today within the framework of the Association for the Teaching of Body Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (ATBBP).ATBBP, bodily ego, touch, gaze, couch, mediation.
