While these reflections will be highly schematic, for Foucault, this problem of truth is in fact both complicated and central. It is particularly present in the last lecture he gave at the Collège de France, through for example his analysis of the death of Socrates or his study of the Cynics. The question that could be posed, through this rereading, is that of the relationship between truth and obedience, and between truth and disobedience. | ||
