520 _aWe have observed that, similarly to the birth rate recorded among the different sections of the population, French entrepreneurs with foreign origins—Vietnamese origins specifically—show greater dynamism than native French entrepreneurs. This study attempts to shed light on this phenomenon and to answer a number of questions: Is this dynamism linked to the relative insecurity of immigrant populations? Is it the result of a fully achieved integration process? Does the way identity is dealt with in the host country have an influence? What is retained, what is given up? For example, why are French citizens with Vietnamese origins less efficient entrepreneurs than American citizens with Vietnamese origins?
