The first part of the article describes the general problem of representations shared by entrepreneurial actors and researchers. The second part discusses the possible grounded interactions that may emerge. Finally, the third part proposes a new tool for helping researchers to discuss their shared representations. It is based on a development of Strawson’s philosophical theory of transcendental argument.
