520 | _aMore profitable firms tend to share part of their profits with their workers in the form of higher wages. This phenomenon is called rent-sharing and is found to exist in a multitude of countries. A number of studies have advanced the analysis by examining the roles played by different moderating factors (e.g., gender, education, tenure, level of collective bargaining, country of birth).
