520 _aThe interview is the data collection tool most used in the context of research conducted in health sciences, human sciences, and the social sciences. After discussing some general points on the different types of interviews, we focus on the semi-structured interview during its various stages, including those of processing and data analysis, doing so using a research study situated on the border of the fields of public health and anthropology. While this contextualized approach to the semi-structured interview may a priori appear specific, the reader interested in the development of qualitative research in a humanistic perspective and the implementation of multidisciplinary strategies will be able to see its universal character.
