520 _aIn this article we provide an account of the possibility of a human being’s existence beyond death in the intermediate state, while being active, individualized and continuous with his earthly experience. Starting from biblical data and using the notions of information and mind of God, we show that an existence with these characteristics is conceivable for a separated soul. We introduce in particular the notion of the informational body as a historical dimension of the soul which makes it possible to ensure more particularly the continuity between the person who lived on earth and the separated soul awaiting the final resurrection.
